Born in Mexico City, I studied drawing and painting at the Instituto de Arte de Mexico under Alfredo Guati Rojo. My artistic journey shifted towards sculpture after moving to Canada in 1982, where I studied under the talented sculptor Peggy Walton Packard.
Later, while living in Japan from 1991 to 1995, I continued sculpting under Professor Kikuo Shirasawa. I've been deeply inspired by the Japanese culture.

I’ve showcased my work in Vancouver and beyond as a proud member of the Sculptors’ Society of British Columbia and I'm an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. With pieces featured at VanDusen Botanical Garden and at Pendulum Gallery. Currently based in Vancouver, I split my time between San Miguel de Allende, drawing continuous inspiration from the beauty and artistic energy of both cities.

About Me

I’ve been passionate about sculpture ever since I first touched clay, hoping to capture both the beauty and spirit of people from around the world. My work draws inspiration from diverse cultures, infusing each sculpture with peace and serenity.
